We've been so lucky with so many beautiful evenings lately. We got out and enjoyed the evening. The boys rode their tractor and gator around again. Then we went for a pontoon ride. When we got back, the boys played outside some more. Ethan wanted to swim in the hot tub and Tristan played in the sand. Then our neighbor stopped over with their grandson so the boys played in the sand with him. It was so nice out we didn't want to come in the house. Hopefully the weekend will be nice like this.
Here's one of the boys along the lake. A goofy pose. Try to get them both to look a the same time and smile, not always an easy task.
Tristan laughing and loving going fast on the pontoon. And Tristan playing in the sand, he could drive his tractors and trucks around all night.
Ethan swimming in the hot tub. He is doing so good now already. He puts his goggles on and dives for his spiderman water toys and swims around looking for them. He has came a long way.
Some lake pictures. This morning, just beautiful, lake was like glass. Ducks were swimming around and birds flying above as the sun was rising, it was so pretty. Mornings like this are why we love living here. And some from this evening, the house from the lake, and some of the different views from sitting along the shore watching the boys play.
It was an absolute gorgeous evening so we headed outside when we got home. Rashad bought two more apple trees yesterday so he was anxious to get them planted so instead of going for a ride on the pontoon, we did that. And then our neighbors were outside so we visited with them and the boys got snacks and juices(they are too good to them). So here are a few pictures.
Tristan jumped on his tractor and was cruising around while I was watering flowers so he drove back and forth the whole time. He has gotten so good at driving already, just amazing how fast they learn and get better at everything.
Ethan had to help Dad dig out the dirt for the apple tree that they were planting tonight. He was right there helping the whole time. He just loves to help out.
The boys on their toys. Well, Tristan on the gator here I guess, he's figured out reverse too so he can get pretty much anywhere now without help most of the time. And Ethan was on his tractor, but was more interested in climbing the big dirt pile so was taking a break from driving here.
And, Tristan wasn't paying attention and backed right into the wire fence so Ethan had came over to help him out. He just was more scared than anything. He didn't get hurt at all but is kinda upset in the picture. But he was off again in no time. Both boys just love driving back and forth and back and forth.
And, one last one to throw in of the ketchup king. :) Looked over and Tristan was just licking the ketchup that was left out of his plate and continued to do so until it was all gone.
Tonight was haircut night.
Tristan BEFORE:
Before his haircut, Tristan was all excited. He wanted to be first. But as soon as Daddy brought the coverup, he didnt' want his haircut anymore. So we moved on to Ethan first hoping Tristan would come around and warm up to the idea watching Ethan's.
Tristan AFTER:
Tristan isn't quite as willing to get haircuts yet as Ethan now is. He was crying partway in. First picture here after the haircut, the hair was on his face so he wasn't happy. And the second one, trying to comfort him after his trauma. :)

Ethan AFTER:
I've waited awhile in between posting pictures again so here's a bunch of collages of pictures.
This set is when Auntie Darci and cousins Lillian and Mia were over to visit. Papa Lonnie and Grandma Carol were up for a little bit too so we went out for a pontoon ride before they headed back to the farm to work. Darci and the girls stayed and the kids got to play in the sand and the water. Lillian helped water my flowers. Tristan and Lillian went with Rashad for a waverunner ride...they were pretty excited. Ethan loved playing in the lake with his jetski and boats.
Great-Grandma Ella was down playing with the boys. Ethan kept her busy playing games and both boys kept her busy playing ball downstairs. Tristan helped Grandma make knoephla for supper and Darci came over with the girls to visit and have supper. The boys were playing dress up with their costumes(Knight Tristan and Ethan batman). Then the kids took turns pulling eachother in the wagon downstairs too.
Tristan helped Dad make salsa last week. He was excited to get to help. He was refilling the food chopper for Dad.
Spent the weekend on the water on the other side of the lake since we had the windy side. On Saturday we pulled over by the public beach for awhile so a few pictures of the boys playing with a couple of their friends, Caden and Lucas. They had a great time. Sunday Ethan played with JJ, they always have a great time. Then a few of the boys today before they headed outside with their shades on. And hugging. And Tristan trying to give Ethan kisses. :)
And some older ones, these are from Napoleon at the farm with Papa Lonnie and Grandma Carol. They paved in front of the house so the boys have lots of room to drive their bikes, trikes, motorcycles, cars and whatever else. They are on the go all the time. Then a few going out in the farm bus with Grandma.
And some more older ones from down at the farm in Zeeland with Papa Tony and Grandma Vivian. They had lots of fun at the farm and playing with all the boys that were down at the same time. Grandma brought her camera up so we got to see some of the fun the boys had while we were gone.
